College Degrees Online

These are the Primary types of degrees you get when you go to a college or university.  Consider an online college degree.

Associate Degree Programs

College degrees come in many flavors.  2 year degrees, also known as Associate Degree Programs provide the basis for much of the clerical and paralegal help in our nation.  Often dispensed as a certificate, these programs get to the point in teaching you what you need to know for any particular low and mid-level career.

Bachelor Degree Programs

Four year degrees, or Bachelor Degree Programs, offer a more rounded education, diving deeper into the major subject area, but also rounding out the curriculum to broaden the scope of a persons capabilities.

Master Degree Programs

After a bachelors come the Master Degree Program.  This is an additional 2 years to dive deep into a specialty area, providing masters level knowledge.  The most popular masters degree program is the MBA.

Graduate Degree Programs

The most exclusive college degree program is the Graduate Degree Program.  This is what is often referred to as a PhD, or Doctor of Philosophy.  It also includes lawyers with the Juris Doctorate, or JD, and medical doctors with their MD.  A degree of this type means you are an expert in the field, often contributing original thought to your given subject area.

The are alternate degree programs generally offered by your local college or university.

 Vocational Degrees

If you are looking to follow a specific job type, such as welding or construction, then you should consider a Vocational Degree Program.  There are a number of fields of study, from construction to hair styling to basic secretarial vocations.  Find out more about fulfilling your vocation.

Certificate Programs

A number of jobs require a certification, and if all you want of the paper that says you are trained, then a Certification Program may be what you need.  These offer core courses in just the field of study, without all the baggage or a more formal degree program.

Continuing Education

Maybe you already have a degree, or a job in your field of choice.  The Continuing Education Program offers current training on your area of specialty, letting you keep up with the industry in which you work.

Business Degrees

Although many of these degrees are based on an Bachelor or Masters series, many schools offer a basic Business Degree Program, where you may gain a name-brand degree.
