Minnesota's Private Colleges - The Minnesota Private College Council, Fund and Research Foundation represent 17 of the best private, liberal arts colleges in Minnesota.


Adler Graduate School - Aims to educate students to be Adlerian-based professionals who are prepared to improve the interactions and conditions of the people, organizations, and communities they serve

Art Institutes International Minnesota - A post-secondary career-oriented school in The Art Institutes International system that offers certificates, associate degrees, and Bachelor of Science degrees in culinary arts, graphic design, interior design, multimedia.

Augsburg College - A private Lutheran 4-year college located in downtown Minneapolis.

Bethel College and Seminary - A four-year, liberal arts institution committed to a distinctly evangelical Christian philosophy of education, sponsored by the churches of the Baptist General Conference and affiliated with Bethel Seminary.

Carleton College - Private, co-educational liberal arts college.

College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University - Catholic liberal arts colleges. Saint Benedict is a women's college and Saint John's is a men's university.

College of St. Catherine - A multifaceted Catholic institution in St. Paul, Minnesota, providing undergraduate programs in liberal arts and professional programs for women. A Minneapolis campus specializes in associate degree and certificate programs for both women and men

Concordia College - A private, accredited, four-year Lutheran institution in Moorhead, Minnesota.

Concordia University - A university of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, preparing students for thoughtful and informed living by pursuing programs grounded in the liberal arts and focused on education for vocation in home, workplace, community and congregation. Located in Saint Paul.

Crossroads College - A four year, non-denominational, coeducational, post-secondary institution largely supported by the Christian Churches and Churches of Christ.

Gustavus Adolphus College - An undergraduate, residential liberal arts college firmly rooted in its Swedish and Lutheran heritage.

St. Mary's University of Minnesota - Four-year, coeducational, residential, liberal arts university. Administered by the Christian Brothers. Campuses in Winona and Minneapolis

St. Olaf College - A four-year college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, provides an education committed to the liberal arts, rooted in the Christian gospel, and incorporating a global perspective.

University of St. Thomas - A Catholic, comprehensive university in St. Paul, Minnesota that fosters a tradition of service to the public and an energetic, thoughtful approach to the challenges of contemporary life.

William Mitchell College of Law - Private accredited law school, with a curriculum integrating theoretical and skills knowledge.
