Spending So Many Hours Working, Having A Job You Like Is A Real Bonus
There are 168 hours in every week. If we spend the usual eight hrs every night fast asleep, that is 56 hrs we consume, leaving 112 hours being awake. For everybody who has a full time career, about half of these hours will be spent every week preparing to go to the workplace, commuting to work or actually being at work. It is easy to appreciate, therefore, how having a career you enjoy will enhance your life.
I am very lucky to have a career I enjoy, with the added advantange that I Work From Home, so do not endure the daily travel to work. I work in the Internet Business, undertaking Online Jobs which mean that I am working in an environment I enjoy but keeping abreast with technology. This is important in order to undertake my work effectively. If I did not keep abreast with new technology I would not be well placed to give my possible clients the best possible advice on how to enhance their internet sites in order to obtain higher search engine placement, and in so doing assisting them to get more business.
Although I Work From Home, I do need to do studies for my work, so am still in contact with other folk as I need to obtain a fully rounded idea of the businesses my customers are involved in. The Internet Business I am occupied in gives me the added bonus of networking with folk who work in many different industries, so each day is different and I get insight into many roles which in the normal working way I would not be involved with.
One day I could be chatting about Online Jobs with a new Internet Business and then the following day talking to somebody who knows very little about the net or online marketing, but understands the need to have a site in place to push their company.
Being passionate about my work comes over in my chats with clients and potential clients and they acquire confidence that I will achieve a good job for them because I love my role. If I did not have this zeal for my work, then I would not be as successful, as folk can soon grasp the fact that you do not really believe in your job if this is the case.
Because I enjoy my job so much, I often find that I work many more than the normal 40 hours which full time work involves. I am often found on my computer, finding out about new ideas, looking for new ways of helping to increase my business, writing articles and reports in relation to my career. When I am out and about, I will also be looking for things which could help me to improve my business or give me insight into an area on a subject where I was a little light in knowledge.
If I did not have such zeal for my work, I would not be spending so much time improving my Internet Business, I would more than likely do the minimum required to get the necessary results, but would not be giving my possible customers the value add which having confidence in my business and my ability give me.
