Drawback: Days pass before you discover the car battery is deader than a doornail. And of course, you had to find this out on the one day you have a meeting you can’t afford to miss.

Advantage: You do not have to clean your desk.
Drawback: Nobody will clean your desk either.

Advantage: You can go on vacation any day you want.
Drawback: There’s no one to fill in for you while you go on vacation, so you’re left with only two options: you shut your business for the time being or you do not go on vacation.

Advantage: You can talk as loud as you want.
Drawback: You have no one to chat with so you talk to your flowers. The neighbor hears you, decides you’re loony, and tells the whole neighborhood.

Advantage: There is no need to call in sick.
Drawback: You cannot call in sick.
